# AutoMod

### What is "Auto Moderation"?

Auto Moderation takes a lot of daily routine from your Moderators and makes them free for more fancy work. Literally Auto Moderation is the 'automatic moderation' and is realized as a group of rules, which you and your Moderators set. Luckily ProCord has a lot of fancy automoderation commands which will help the server out a lot!!

#### 1.1 Punishments

ProCord has a variety of punishments, which can be are applied to a user when they broke a specific rule. Punishments also can have a specific time, such as a 30 minute temp-mute or a 10 day temp-ban

| Punishment              | Info                          |
| ----------------------- | ----------------------------- |
| \*lock #channel @role   | Locks the mentioned channel   |
| \*unlock #channel @role | Unlocks the mentioned channel |

#### 1.2 Command examples

Here is an example of a tempmute command..

```
*lock #channel @role
```

{% hint style="info" %}
**NOTE:** *Updates do come in this bot every month or so.. So that's why the commands will be increasing and not all commands are listed down here..*
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://drstrange-gitbook.gitbook.io/procord_docs/features-and-commands/automod.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
